U.S. Bank to finance Green projects in Colorado.

“US Bank collaborated with State Representative Joe Miklosi, State Senator Gail Schwartz and the Colorado Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) for this program,” said Hassan Salem, president of U.S. Bank in Denver. “U.S. Bank chose to pilot the program in Colorado based on the state’s commitment to promoting energy efficient home building and because Coloradoans are known for their love of the outdoors and green living. There has also been increased consumer interest in tax incentives and rebates.”

Energy Savings at Home

There’s no doubt about it. The choices you make at home can lead to significant savings—in energy and money.

Using funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) is offering rebates to Coloradans who take specific energy-efficiency and/or renewable energy measures.

The program is designed to stimulate the economy and save energy by encouraging Coloradans to replace old appliances with new ENERGY STAR® models, incorporate energy-efficient measures or install renewable energy systems.

The rebates will be offered statewide on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
